The work "Maschenware" consists of knitting scores and performance instructions. Made from a cone of white cotton yarn sponsored by the textile company SETEX and mainly used to produce their trademark event textiles supplied to significant events worldwide. Due to the pandemic outbreak, the Eventex production was massively halted. The knitting process was to sequence missing narratives and wave the fragility into tactile fabrics to unfold horizontal spatial and tangible musical/performative instructions, which incorporated rhythmic progression, Braille text, and the relative duration of linked epic scenarios interpretable by the performer (vocal artist). The knitting notations and performance instructions articulate the emotional landscape meditated the potential of non-scalability, in contrast to today's world of automated and chained global production and consumption mechanisms.
